A profitable week in the end. Brentford did their best to scupper our efforts with a 92nd minute equaliser against Darlo, costing us £40+, and Lough Derb could only finish 6th, despite making all the running for the first 2 miles. The boxing/cricket double came off. It was touch and go at times though, we were helped massively by the Malignaggi corner, who threw the towel in a minute into the 11th round, even though their fighter looked in no danger. Once the first half of the double was up there looked no danger until the rains came in Bangalore. The game was shortened to 22 overs, making it a bit of a lottery, but India came though nicely in the end. The weekend ended on a sour note, however, as both the GridIron sides suffered home defeats.
It was a profit of £27.40 for the week, and means the balance is now at £198.90. This gives Andy and Bob £33 to spend next week. Having accidentally stayed up til 5 on Friday night when blottoed and thinking it was Saturday, waiting for the boxing to come on, and then actually managing to watch the fight last night as well, I'm off for some well earned kip.

fekin Brentford equalised in the last min!!!
I'd just texted Steve as well saying watch out for the last minute equaliser. 90+2 mins. Fucking typical.
B@stard yanks keep the profit for the week down to around £26! Any profit's good though, nice one Tim!!!
