Tuesday's bets

Del Potro did the business last night in fine style last night, a pleasing result and a nice earner. The drawback is that I'm exhausted this morning after several nights of staying up far too late watching it.

The Champions League restarts tonight, and there's a full Championship programme as well. There's a number of bets I'm interested in. First of all, in the Championship, Ipswich host Notts Forest. Forest have looked good in recent weeks and could have easily beaten Wednesday at Hillsborouh at the weekend. Ipswich havent won yet this season and I cant see it changing tonight. I'm having £20 on Forest at 3.7 on Betfair.

My second of three Championship bets is Sheff United to win at Coventry. I had the Sky Blues onside at the start of the season, but their form has deserted them. They play the best team in the division tonight in the Blades and I can see another away win here. The price is a little restrictive, but I'm having £30 on the Blades @ 2.1.

Lastly, Bristol City go to the Liberty Stadium, Swansea in what almost counts as a local derby. Swansea are in perilous danger since Martinez left, although recent form has been a bit more promising earlier in the season. Bristol City are a very solid outfit, and in Nicky Maynard they have got the division's hottest striker. I fancy Maynard to strike tonight and Bristol City to take the 3 points. £20 on Bristol City @ 3.3

Lastly, in the Champions League, Wolfsburg open with a fixture against CSKA Moscow. The Russians are more experienced at this level, are halfway through their season and unlike the German Champions, are in good nick. They are available at a decent price, so Moscow for £20 @ 4.8.
