Ian and Chris's bets 13 Dec

Chris;

Harlequins v Stade Francais £25 @ 1.89 losing bet

Biarritz v Cardiff £12 @ 2.8 wins £32.54

Ian;

Championship Double
Wolves/Reading £20 @ 2.16 wins £42.04

First Test
India v England - draw
£17 @ 5.12 losing bet

A 56p profit for the week, as Evs won £5.02 and Chris lost £4.46. Two decent winners as Cardiff beat the French side and Evs' Reading/Wolves double came in, but two unfortunate losses, as India's batsmen made light work of the huge total they had to chase, and Quins saw off Stade Francais. So, there is £37 to spend next week.

What a balls up! This has cost us over a ton profit. Maybe the password should also be passed on to Steve/Tony or Myself? I got my bets by Friday lunchtime, hadn't 100% decided what I wanted by Thursday night. Gutted.

This is a fucking mickey mouse set up. Tied to one betting provider and stupidly early deadlines. This certainly what wasn't what I was sold. I'm out!!! PS My selections were on the sheet Thurs night!!

The problem with passing the password around is that it is Faye's Betfair account. I am quite happy for someone to take over the running of the site and open up their own account. I will transfer the funds.

To be honest, it takes me about an hour on a Friday evening and again to do the write up and calculations and havent always got the time so I would be quite happy to pass it on to someone else. It doesnt help when I have to chase people up to get bets on every week, although some people always seem to manage to get their bets up on time.

With regard to this week, I emailed Scott and Tony on Thursday morning, telling them I was going away so needed the bets up by Thursday night at the latest. They both replied and said it would be fine. Leaving at the crack of dawn on Friday I checked the site and my email at 11.45pm just before I went to bed and the bets werent up.

Frankly, I've got better things to do than chase people up and if you cant get your bets up at the right time you only have yourselves to blame.

It also needs to be pointed out that the whole system worked with no problems last season. The whole thing is supposed to be a bit of a laugh and if we make some cash then great.

We've obviously got some disharmony so I'll give Tony his share of cash and if anyone else wants out then now is probably the time to do it. Sorry for my part in what has been a sorry affair.

I'm not disputing Tim's version of events but I can honestly say that I logged on and put my bets on the spreadsheet on Thursday night. I only had a problem with the system, in that some of Betfair's markets tend to open quite close to the event. When I made one of my selections on Thursday night (Birm and Oldham - yes I know that one lost) it was not even available on the multiples market! Sorry boys, I'm sure you'll all gutted to have lost out on one of the best weeks this season. I hope you have a brilliant end to the season and end up quids in!!!
