Just one goal. Just one goal. This was probably what Evs was screaming at the telly this afternoon. As well as come on you fucking useless City wankers. If City had won it would have meant a massive profit for him, and we'd have broken the £200 barrier comfortably.
In a week of 'if onlys', Bolton looked like they could upset Newcastle at a monster price, but didnt manage it in the end. It was City, though, who failed to beat West Ham, that caused the most heartache, as it meant Evs' double worth £70-odd went down with the 1-1 draw. The Chelsea/Pompey double was a winner though, at odds of 2.34, meaning a return of £35.10. After commission, the total return for the week was £34.09, a loss of £1.91.
The account is now at £179.87, and that means Andy has got £35.50 for his bets next week. Andy, can you put them up here as a comment by Friday night please? And, while we're at it, how about a nice big win, to take us through the magical £200 barrier?
