Ian:

A terrible week for the betting club this week, as our four bets went down, and we lost £72. Accas were again our downfall, that's none from three this season. Australia also surprised the Saffers in the rugby, and Evs' decision not to back his beloved Wolves came back to haunt him, as they bettered his predicted draw at Ipswich. The biggest disappointment of the week remains Blackburn, though, as they failed to beat Hull, and sent both our accas to the wall.

So, back to the drawing board for us Steve and myself make our 2008/09 bow. We will have £24 each to bet with.
