In a session of gambling, you are always going to go through a bad spell, but this is a losing streak of some size. None of bob's picks ended as draws, as Everton and Chelsea made light work of tough looking fixtures. The misery was summed up neatly by Matt Derbyshire's late winner at Newcastle fans. I guess we just have to look on the bright side, it could be worse, we could be Newcastle fans.
Also, its the Cheltenham Festival in a few days time, and as such I will be using my bets on horses rather than footy. After this week's loss the account is down to £89.02.
So, I've got £17 to spend. I'll have the following bets, all on the antepost markets at Cheltenham....
Tuesday 11 March 2008
Cheltenham 2.00 Supreme Novices' Hurdle Race (Class 1) Rippling Ring £5 @ 11
Wednesday 12 March 2008
Cheltenham 3.15 The Seasons Holidays Queen Mother Champion Steeple Chase (Class 1) (Grade 1) Voy Por Ustedes £7 @ 4.7
Thursday 13 March 2008
Cheltenham 2.35
The Ryanair Steeple Chase (Class 1) (Registered As The Festival Trophy) (Grade 1)
L'Antartique £5 @ 9.6
