Bob failed to make a profit this week, as only one of his three bets came in, but it could have been so different. Admittedly, Man City went down by six at Chelsea, which wasnt the best of starts, but Kenwyne Jones scored for Sunderland to win £27.80, or £26.93 after commission. This could have been much higher though, indeed, Ladbrokes had been offering 12/5 (3.4) which would have meant a profit for the week at that price. It just goes to show that Betfair prices are not always better, especially on the more obscure markets. Burnley v Southampton was a five goal thriller, but as we were after a draw we were less than impressed with Burnley's missed chances at the end, which would have, if converted, made us another £36.30 better off.
Anyway, a loss for the week of £5.07. The account stands at £155.22, and I'm up next week, so I'll have £31 to chuck about.
